The subdivision known as Rosewood Estates was established in the year 2000 by R&S Investments, Inc. The covenants governing the new cluster subdivision were submitted to the town on May 12th, 2000 and R&S investments began the sale and development of the home sites.
Initial construction on the homes began in early 2001 and residents began to occupy the properties by the middle of that year. A flurry of construction activity continued through 2002 and into 2003 before the last of the homes were completed.
In August of 2003, the Rosewood Estates Homeowners Association was incorporated as a non-profit corporation charged with collectively managing and maintaining the subdivision and its common properties.
Set back off of Stony Lane by a treed laneway, the residences are surrounded by green spaces and an abundance of native trees. Residents enjoy convenient access to major roadways, with a short 1 mile drive down Stony Lane to Route 2 (Quaker Lane) and easy access to Route 4 / I-95.
